Gold. All three sides of every page, on all three volumes of The Wayward Collection.

Not a sticker. Not a coating you'll scratch off in a fortnight. Proper gold foil, applied by SeSe Printing, the same finish that runs across the covers, so the whole book catches the light when you tilt it.

And there is a lot of edge to gild. Volume I runs to 832 pages. Volume II, 826. Volume III, 898. Over 2,500 pages of Regency scandal, every one of them lined in gold, the three volumes standing together in a matching illustrated slipcase.

It's the kind of detail I couldn't justify on an ordinary print run. Gilding is fussy, slow and expensive, and it's the first thing that gets cut when a budget tightens. It's here because this set is being made once, properly, and then never again. A single print run. No reprints.

The campaign opens January 2027. The early-bird set is limited to the first 100, at the best price these books will ever be, and the readers who've signed up for the launch alert are the ones who'll get to it first.
